Wedding Reception
Our guests enjoyed a cocktail hour, while we posed for pictures in the garden where we had just been married. After all the pictures were taken, it was time to bustle the bride... Now, both Jeff's sister-in-Law and my grandmother were with me for my final fitting and learned how to do the bustle. It seems though that the day of, nobody could do the bustle. Finally, Jeff to the rescue... yes, that's right... my new husband, the groom, bustled the bride!! Once Jeff was finished, he received a round of applause from everyone who was watching this "event". Yes, I married a man of many talents!!
We had a lot of fun at our reception. Our DJ, Bobby, introduced the bridal party and we made our entrance into the other part of the yard for the reception. The best man gave the toast and my grandmother said the blessing. The food was great - the music was great - and everyone was enjoying themselves! Some of Jeff's family members had not seen each other in years, so an impromptu family reunion had also begun! Once dinner was finished, we cut our wedding cake - fed a piece to each other and everyone yelled at us for NOT being messy! Then, we shared our first dance as husband and wife. The song we danced to was "I Could not ask for More" by Edwin McCain

Although the day went by much too quickly, we had a beautiful, perfect day filled with so much love and happiness... I married my best friend and soulmate I am so happy that we were able to take it all in and enjoy ourselves as this is the one day in our lives that we will never forget. I often think about how lucky I am to have Jeff in my life... it must have been that wish I made upon that star...
