Our Honeymoon
On Sunday, most of our family and friends that were in from out of town were now heading back home. It was sad to everyone leave. We visited with family before they left and then we needed to drive Helen back to the airport. Afterwards, we returned to our place to start packing and get everything ready as we were leaving for our honeymoon in the morning!!
We left Monday morning for the Wisconsin Dells... this place is absoluely beautiful and we were both very excited to be there! Since our honeymoon was during the "off" season for tourists, we had everything practically to ourselves... and everyone knew it was our honeymoon!! The hotel we stayed at was gorgeous and right along Lake Delton. And even though most of the main attractions in the Dells were not open yet, we still had a blast enjoying boat rides along the Wisconsin River, and taking in many of the local attractions that were available... quiet, secluded and no crowds...the perfect honeymoon!!
