As Far as the Stars
(Echos of Time)

Our hearts filled will pain
from the experiences of life
but sharing laughter together
we have soared to new heights

Did I know you before
in a universe so far away
where stars reflected the light
to guide us here today

We connect on a level
that almost seems absurd
you can hear my thoughts
before I speak the words

The fates can be unkind
by throwing obstacles at me
leading me from the road
where you were my destiny

And so, we are here
together, but alone
we have found each other
in this vast unknown

This dream of us is real
from another place and time
living out my fantasies on paper
so I can relive them in my mind
