Frequently Asked Questions
I thought this would be a fun way to answer some of the questions I have received from visitors... which includes the MOST frequently asked question! If you have a question for me, let me know and it may appear here.

Why did you name your site "Wet Dreams"? As you can imagine, this question has been repeatedly asked by visitors. The name of my site is Wet Dreams Poetry, not Wet Dreams. The site name was taken from the poem, Wet Dreams, written for me by NeoDinian, because of my love for dolphins. When I first started to build and design my site, I wanted to incorporate dolphins with poetry. Thus, the name Wet Dreams Poetry was born.

What advice can I give on writing poetry? Writing poetry is such a personal experience and I am not an expert on the art of poetry writing. The only advice I can give is to write from your heart. I do not feel there are set rules to follow when writing, although some may disagree, as it is an expression of your own personal thoughts or feelings.

Have you ever been published? I have had one poem published in an anthology book a few years ago, but I feel because of the type of publication and source, it does not constitute me as being "published" in the true sense of the word. My poetry does appear (with permission) on several other websites and a few pieces have been published in an online E-Zine, but I have not had my words actually published in print, such as a magazine, by a reputable publisher.

Do I still have my Jersey accent? My Jersey accent is beginning to fade... my accent is still there, but now I also have a mid-west "twang" on top of it!! And, even though I am originally from New Jersey, I have never met, nor do I personally know, Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi.
