Wet Dreams Poetry, Version 3!

Have you ever wondered what the thought or inspiration was behind a person's poem/story? When I write, I like to "capture a moment" to put a memory into words, in the same way you would capture a moment with a photograph, so to speak.

In this section, I will be displaying some of my earlier poems written as a teenager, that captured a moment for me. I thought this would be a interesting way to give my visitors a peak at the inside story behind some of my poetry. As time permits, I will add more to this section, but in the meantime, if you would like to know the inspiration or thought behind any of my poems, feel free to ask!

This next piece is called Summer Cyber Fling. I wrote this poem during the summer of 2000 about internet romances and innocent flirtations. With summer coming to an end, I dedicate this to romance and anyone who had a Summer Cyber Fling!

Summer Cyber Fling

You caught my attention
as I surfed the net
somehow we connected
yet, we never met.

A temporary diversion
in my ordinary life
innocent flirtations
night after night.

Chemistry was sparked
as we shared our dreams
touching only through words
on a computer screen.

My heart begins to flutter
when I hear the touchtones ring
embracing the delight
of my summer cyber fling.

With the click of a mouse
we set the time and place
for our secret rendezvous
out in cyberspace.

So the game was played
it was just a tease
passions ignited
with a stroke of the keys.

When the pages of the calendar turn
the cool fall winds will bring
warm and wonderful memories
of my summer cyber fling.
